Hey Everybody!!! After last week’s dramatic ocean romp, things seem to have settled down as Juan Pablo and the ladies head over to New Zealand for the next leg of their adventure. The ladies settle in after what I read in Chris Harrison’s blog was a crazy long trip topped off with none of them getting their luggage. They all had to go out and buy clothes and necessities. The date card arrives and it’s for Andi. Finally poor Andi gets her one on one called “Let’s Heat Things Up” Of course attention seeking Clare is whining and pouting about how she should get the one on one because of their “misunderstanding” in Vietnam. Not even 10 minutes into the episode and busted out my #STFUClare on twitter. I just can not deal with her manipulative ways anymore. She has spent the most time with Juan Pablo then anyone, let Andi have her day!
Anyhow Andi goes on her date with Juan Pablo and he takes her on this really cool speedboat. They cuddle and talk while their drives is bringing them to the middle of nowhere. The driver then tells tells them to jump in, they are at their destination. Andi is wondering “what the heck?” but reveals her one piece bathing suit and jumps in. Now the Big Brother nut in me is just picturing Elissa Reilly sneering and saying “Who wears a one piece?” But I digress. Juan Pablo leads her to this narrow opening between caves called “The Squeeze” They need to meander down this really narrow opening of rock and water to get to their destination of a waterfall and hot springs. While there they have their make out session in the water. I have no clue how they got out of their but they did and tried to have dinner with geysers behind them. This all seemed like a good idea to production til the geysers starting going of soaking them, and their food. Judging by their attire of sweaters and jackets it seemed pretty cold to be getting wet. They finally give up on dinner and just have some fun walking around they geysers and talking and just going with the flow of everything. Things with Andi just seem really easy. They had a great conversation and he gives her the rose.
Back at the resort, moms Cassandra and Renee were missing their kids. Cassandra was doubting if she should stay but Renee got her calmed down. I really like Renee! She is mature, beautiful and just such a nice person.. The group date card arrives and it says “Let Love Roll” Sharleen, Chelsie, Renee, Nikki, Kat, and Cassandra are chosen for this date. This is by far the most fun thing I have ever seen. They get to roll down these hills in a huge plastic ball called an OGO. Two or three go down at a time and without attention whore Clare there monopolizing all Juan Pablo’s time the girls were able to relax and just have some fun with Juan Pablo and each other. Juan Pablo and Nikki to kiss in the OGO a few times tho, but no one else sees. The only thing I didn’t enjoy about the OGO was the exit. It really looked like you were being birthed from this giant ball, landing with a thud on the ground. Next came one of the coolest cocktail parties EVER!!! He took them to Hobbiton, where they filmed Lord of the Rings. It was AMAZING!!! There he started pulling girls for their one on one chats. First he took Renee, he pounces on her like a cat and just starts making out with her. When he lets her up for air she tells him about her and Cassandra’s mommy crisis. Nikki goes next. She is the first to volunteer that she is falling for him, and they kiss. There really isn’t much conversation to report. His tongue gets a great workout this episode! Sharleen is next in line, she doesn’t even get a hello out and his tongue is down her throat. Is this not the same guy a few weeks ago who said he wouldn’t kiss anyone? He had to be a good example to his daughter. Oh how his tone has changed. Finally he takes Cassandra. They talk a lot but he doesn’t kiss her, he hasn’t kissed her at all. Chelsie and Kat’s conversations don’t get shown tonight but from their diary sessions they didn’t get kissed either. Oh I forgot to mention that today is Cassandra’s 22nd birthday, and Sharleen gets the rose. After the rose is given out he takes Cassandra away again and gives her a birthday present she will never forget. A trip home!!! He had decided, not knowing it was her birthday, he didn’t see a future with her and didn’t want to keep her away from her son any longer. Yes it sucked it was her birthday, but his rationale behind it was solid. I will give him this one!!! There is no point in leading her on. Timing could have been better for sure, but she never told him it was her birthday so how was he to know.
Now for Clare’s date. He brings her to the side of a river to rehash Vietnam and the “swimming” incident. She says she never meant to make it awkward, she wants to know what the boundaries were. He said the whole thing wasn’t right for him but he didn’t want to make her sad.. I don’t think he said anything different to her in New Zealand than he said to her in Vietnam but she got over it and they made out on the river’s edge. They have dinner in this suite, where they have conversation, a lot of it about Camilla. He then throws these sweat pants at her that look more like diaper pants then anything. The dance, have another make out session…..snore city…. she bores me. Nothing about these diaper pants are sexy at all!!! Juan Pablo has got to be the noisiest kisses EVER! I feel for the audio team. No surprise Clare gets a rose.
Time for the cocktail party. We get to see a bit of the Chris/Juan Pablo deliberations for the first time but it doesn’t reveal much of anything. Juan Pablo joins the ladies and they are very quiet, which makes him nervous. They only showed conversations with the 4 ladies not holding roses going into thank God. No more Clare this episode. Juan Pablo seems to have little time for conversation as first he reveals he is wearing pink underwear to Nikki then makes out with her. He then takes Renee and addresses her worries about Cassandra being sent home so abruptly, saying he wants to love life with her. and shocker…..they kiss. Talking with Chelsie she addresses how she feels they aren’t moving forward. He talks with Kat last. She unloads on him tonight. Tells him how she has been keeping a journal this whole time, how she isn’t aggressive with men because she doesn’t want to be disappointed. Basically lays all her daddy issues on him then says she wants to face her fears with him. Both Chelsie and Kat realized it’s between the two of them who goes but each is confident that they will stay. So Clare, Andi, Sharleen, Nikki, Renee and Chelsie all get roses and Kat is sent home. After the the ceremony Sharleen is confused about her feeling and decides to give it one more week, and if she isn’t sure she is going to leave. Juan Pablo tells the girls they are going to Miami. I guess they wiped the travel budget out early 🙂
So I still have Sharleen and Nikki in the race! I am going to add in Renee…..these are my three for hometowns with maybe Andi making the cut I am sure next week Chelsie will go, and I hope Sharleen hangs on and doesn’t give up and Juan Pablo wakes up and sends Clare home soon. Tune in next week and we shall see what happens in Miami!
