This week on Survivor… We begin this week’s episode at the Blue Collar camp and Dan has lost his manties! He was out in the ocean, doing his business, with his underwear around his ankle and a big wave swept his #manties away. To deal with this, he has taken a shirt and belt and fashioned himself some #shirtpants, which leaves him without a shirt, but he can’t #rawdog it in his jeans. LOL So many hashtag opportunities in the first five minutes and I didn’t see a single one on the screen! Come on, CBS, you didn’t want to promote…

This week in Nerdvana… Now that Heather’s gone, Amanda is feeling sad about the loss of her once-in-a-lifetime friend, but she reminds herself that she’s not dead. From a strategy stand point, Heather being gone is good for Jonathan, but he’s regretting not stepping up to the plate to knock Colby out of the park himself. Heather would still be with them, and she was one of his favorites, if he had manned up for his team. Raychelle congratulates Colby on his win and everyone else joins in, but Colby feels everyone, except Kaitlin, abandoned him and he excuses himself…
Survivor time! Let’s go! If you’re reading this blog you’ve probably read my cast preview/assessment, (and if you haven’t, you should – I’m told it’s pretty funny), so let’s skip over the whole “meet the Survivors” section of the first episode of season thirty. Is that okay? Can we do that? Loved Jeff’s “entrance” this season, though, that whole thing with him on the rock in the middle of the ocean with the water all gushing around him then the pull back… That was pretty cool. So after the tribes are driven to the beach where Jeff awaits, they assemble…
This week in Nerdvana… When the nerds return home after the Nerd Off, Colby places Ori’s horcrux upon the alter with the others and the Ori glory commences. Ori is a great guy and Amanda thinks he had a good experience in Nerdvana; she will also be taking up Larping when she gets home as a form of exercise. While it’s great that Colby is still around because he makes Team SMASH stronger, Amanda knows he is a threat to her becoming King of the Nerds and he needs to be eliminated. Ori glory ceases when Kaitlin suggest they have…
This week in Nerdvana… There is much rejoicing about Todd’s departure from the game; Heather and Lily, specifically, are relieved that he isn’t around to “hulk out” anymore. Colby notes that as soon as Todd felt backed into a corner he lashed out and Jonathan remarks that if that’s how you handle those kinds of situations Nerdvana may not be a good place for you. To honor Todd, Lily places his “horcrux” with the others; after each Nerd Off, the remaining players have taken an item from the Nerd Off to represent the fallen nerds. Todd’s is the snake from…
This week in Nerdvana…As the nerds coconut gallop their way back into the house after Thomas’ banishment, Kaitlin is feeling very good, but not so much because she won the Nerd Off. No, Kaitlin’s joy comes from proving that everyone else needs to be scared of her – she is a force to be reckoned with, ya’ll. After telling the group that she thinks Thomas is an awesome person, Raychelle suggests that it be time for food and everyone else agrees. The next morning, Team Smash makes their intentions known to the Universe – they aim to win…
This week in Nerdvana… Upon returning to Nerdvana from their first Nerd Off, the teams gather around the table and Ori incites a toast to Jacob. Team SMASH is not very happy that Ori won the Nerd Off – everyone loved Jacob, but what’s done is done and it’s Tequila Time! Ben serves up the shots, Todd as the Clockwork King makes a toast, Raychelle is surprised with the drinking skills of these nerds and soon enough the topic of conversation takes a turn. Relationship status update, everyone! Thomas, the Brony Eagle Scout (and engineer), admits that he’s never had a…
King of the Nerds season three! Let’s go! So King Kayla has gone to Mars, but space madness has taken over her mind and wanting to maintain her reign, she attacks Nerdvana, BUT… The elder nerds have stepped in to save the throne enabling a new batch of nerds to compete for the crown as Kayla succumbs to space madness on Mars. And what a lovely group of nerds they are! After assembling on the lawn of Nerdvana, it’s time to pick teams, BUT FIRST… Future Curtis and Bobby have a message – The players absolutely cannot be allowed to…
