Oops! I probably should have made a post for this weeks ago! I’ve just been so busy blogging about Survivor, the Amazing Race and working with the Nerd Army on our quest to ensure that King of the Nerds is renewed for a third season. So, join Jon Richardson and myself as we talk with Kayla LaFrance, the winner of King of the Nerds season two, which was conducted live on April 1, 2014. Thanks for watching and stay tuned for more interviews with other cast members from season two!

Was that a damn panther in the shadows at the top of the episode?! It definitely wasn’t a house cat… So the tribe gets back to camp and Tony is flipping out that he got some votes at Tribal Council. Morgan wasn’t worthy of staying, that’s why she went home, Jeremiah and Tasha deserve to be in the game and that’s why they didn’t go home. Tasha says, and Spencer agrees, that they would have been on board to vote out Morgan if Tony would have said something to them about it. Publicly, Tony appreciates the compliment of being viewed…
After a week without a new Amazing Race episode and all of the Reality Rally festivities this weekend, I had to go back and skim my blog to remember everything that happened. If you’re not following me on Twitter, you should at least visit my page to see all of the awesome picture captions I sent out to everyone at Reality Rally on Sunday morning. I hear they were a big hit! I’m @thedolphinpoet on Twitter. So, we’re in Sir Lanka still and the Afganimals are the first to leave at 2:41pm. The clue says that teams must make their…
OMG! This season of Survivor just keeps getting better and better! And Woo is so much the awesome! I swear this guy has “Sole Survivor” written all over him. If he doesn’t win this season, we will all be Woo’d again by CBS. That’s a guarantee. Mark my words. Returning to camp, Spencer thinks it was a cool Tribal Council – they dodged those idols, but it was all for nothing since Kass flipped on her alliance. Spencer is not upset, but he lets Kass know that it was a bad move. In her own defense, Kass explains that she…
Oh. My. God. This was seriously the craziest Tribal Council I have ever seen in 28 seasons of Survivor, all of which I have watched at least twice. Let me repeat that, at least twice. Eric doesn’t call me his Survivor Expert for nothing. I’m getting way ahead of myself, but I couldn’t bury the lead in this post. Upon arriving back at camp from Tribal, Spencer is very happy; getting rid of Alexis definitely bettered his game. Everyone has bought into their “Top Six” and if the tribes merge the next day, they own this game. Sarah suggests that…
So… Yeah… Clearly, today was not a good day for computers in the midwest; I hope to GOD nothing happens to my laptop because I’ll have to put together a Kickstarter to get a new one. This thing has keeled on me once before, I worry all the time it will happen again so I’m a little freaked out that both Zack and Spencer’s computers experienced death screens today. Zack’s was out before the show, but he managed to get connected through his new phone. Spencer’s crashed mid-show… So… Yeah… Clearly… Zack, McCrae and Melissa were so into their conversation…
Well, well, well… I’d say I don’t know where to being, but I do. This is the Amazing Race after all. Dave and Conner begin this leg at 2:50am. We all know what this means! Since their destination is a local location and there are no flights to catch, the playing field is going to be leveled at the start of the episode. When Dave and Conner arrive at the Dutch Museum, they discover that it doesn’t open until 8:30 am so there will be a camp out at the front door until morning. Of course this is good news…
I’m late in posting this so let’s not waste any time; I did have valid reasons, though! Back from Tribal Council and it is gloomy faces all around. Trish right off the bat wants to be clear with Lindsey, they bamboozled Cliff – Lindsey tells her to get real and the drama ensues. Trish respects Lindsey, but she doesn’t like her, Lindsey says she is annoyed by everything Trish does and that she should back up, shut up and leave her alone because she’s not on Trish’s team. Does Trish care? Nooope! Lindsey will be happy if she never has…
*** UPDATE 4/16/14 *** This is Nerd War! Since TBS still hasn’t renewed King of the Nerds, the rest of the Nerd Army “commanders” and I have decided to focus our meme efforts. This week, Kayla wants everyone to send her their best Janeway memes. Tag @On2Mars_Kayla @tbsveryfunny and use #nerdsrule when you post them to Twitter and we’ll try to show the best ones during the “Briefing” tomorrow night. Oh yeah, don’t forget, we’re doing another live show – every Thursday at 7pm Pacific, 9pm Central, 10pm Eastern. Links to the first two are below. Keep Tweeting TBS! Don’t…
Jumping right into the action! BatuCaves in Kuala Lumpor is the start of the fifth leg of the race and since they finished first in the last leg, the Cowboys leave first at 2:26pm. Racers must now make their way to the airport to catch a flight to Colombo, Sri Lanka, once they’ve arrived they must find the GangaramayaTemple to get blessed before they receive their next clue. Immediately, the Cowboys are in pursuit of a travel agency. Dave and Conner are next to leave at 3:13 pm; they self-eliminated on this leg in the last race they ran and…
