We see that Josh is cut to his core by the speech that Jessica gave, stating that she doesn’t believe he deserves to be there. He is crying in the bathroom after the nominations. and Christmas comforts him. Jessica asks Elena if there is going to be a surprised with votes this week. Jessica asks Paul the same thing; he tells her to worry about the votes after Veto is played because they don’t know the final nominations. Paul calls Josh a gun and a shield in DR. Paul tells Josh to lay low, and he won’t go home.
Sociopath Cody is pretending to be more interested in houseguests, so when Christmas asks him if he likes NASCAR. He says that he does, and she tells him that she was the first female NASCAR pit crew member. In DR, he says that he is trying to up his expressions to increase his social game, but he doesn’t really care. He says it like a robot. Such a douchebag.
Jason tells a story about his son Gatlin. He goes into the Have Not room to cry. Josh comes to him, hugs him and tells him he’s a good father. In DR, Jason says that he knows his son is wondering why he isn’t there doing cowboy stuff with him. He says that his wife and son are the best part of him, and Gatlin is the best thing he’s ever done. He says that his Dad is coming home with the $500K to change his stars. Aww, Cowboy.
Kevin, dressed as a bunch of grapes (LOL) hosts the Veto competition, BB Juicy Blast. The players are: Jessica, Ramses, Josh, Cody, Christmas and Jason. They must add the correct ingredients to smoothies or the concoction blows up in their faces. Josh wants to serve Cody and Jess #MeatballSmoothies by winning the veto. Christmas goes out in Round 1 and gets blasted with yellow goop and glitter. In Round 2, Ramses, Josh and Jason go out. So, only Cody and Jess are left. Cody wants Jess to save her hair so he throws the veto to her. Glad he sees what the rest of us do—extensions attached to very damaged thinning hair. Jess is excited to have all the power. Will she make a strategically smart game move? Unlikely.
Paul wants to continue with his plan to blindside Cody and Jessica by getting Ramses out this week. Josh trusts Paul with this plan. Paul tells Josh to act defeated and to say to Jess that he knows he is going home to keep her from being motivated to use the POV. Josh follows through, telling Jessica that he wants to enjoy his last days in the house and keep it civil. She says that she supports that.
Keeping Josh in the house is best for Matt and Raven. Jessica wants to keep the nominations the same, but it makes Jess paranoid that the votes won’t go the way she wants. She asks Raven about the votes, and she tells Jessica that it should be a unanimous vote. Jessica feels like things are off and too good to be true. She goes to talk to Cody, and he tells her that she’s being paranoid. Jessica considers taking Ramses off the block and putting up Alex. Cody discourages this as it will rock the boat.
At the veto ceremony, Ramses says to use the veto on him if it is best for her game. Josh says he knows he’s going home. Jessica decides not to use the POV. Paul says in DR that this was the worst move in BB history and Operation Keep Josh in the House is a go. Josh, covered in a blanket and sunglasses, says in the DR, “Jess doesn’t use the veto.” He rips off the blanket and sunglasses and says, “You’re getting blindsided on Thursday.”
