Josh gives support to Jillian after nominations. After Cody’s asshole “I don’t like you” speech, Megan is feeling attacked by him and was attacked verbally by Josh on episode 2. She’s already saying in DR that she’s not sure she can handle BB.
We learn about the 3 showmances, which I’m listing in order of how tolerable they are. Big Brother REALLY seemed to be pushing showmances with the preseason interviews with Jeff. Yes, it’s great that Rachel and Brendan and Jeff and Jordan are married, but 3 in one season is overkill and is the same as BB18.
- Maven=Matt+Raven (Matt seems to be a very stand-up guy, and Raven suffers from gastroparesis. These 2 haven’t even kissed yet. They cuddle and sleep in the same bed, but it’s not totally annoying in-your-face constant PDA.)
- Marlena=Mark+Elena (Mark is very emotional, and Elena is very abrasively funny; it’s a weird combo that’s a little one sided with Mark always staring at Elena with puppy dog eyes. He seems to like her more than she likes him. She told him that she wants to take things slow. While they do cuddle in front of the other houseguests, they don’t sleep in the same bed, and they just kissed for the first time this weekend.)
- Jody=Cody+Jessica (These 2 are scumbags deserve each other. Jessica calls Alex Pao Pao and Dominique Da’vonne in a racist manner because the new houseguests must be carbon copies of their respective Asian and African American predecessors. She’s a mean girl. Cody has used the word ‘tranny.’ Twice. When corrected about the term, he said he doesn’t give a fuck what America thinks about it. He’s militant, misogynistic and there are Twitter receipts of him making racist and homophobic comments. They’ve been having sex already, and are constantly all over each other. PDA overload.)
Cody must name the first 5 Have Nots of the season. He asks for volunteers. The first Have Nots are Josh, Jillian, Ramses, Megan and Paul. They must obviously eat slop and this year’s room is particularly brutal in that Have Nots sleep on spiked beds. There’s a temptation for the have nots each week. The first one to request a key from the DR may open one of 2 lock boxes to try and escape being a have not.
We see Jessica referring to Alex as Pao Pao in front of Megan. Megan thinks Jessica called Alex a panda as a racist comment, referencing her Asian heritage. Paul overheard this and relays the info to Jessica. Jessica goes to Alex to let her know that she did not make a racist comment about her. Alex then goes off on Megan in front of multiple houseguests, saying they are no longer friends. Megan is seen wandering around the house alone trying to calm down. She then goes into the DR, and has been in there for such a long time that other houseguests start to wonder where she is. Cody is called to the DR, receives a notice from Big Brother that Megan has left the game due to an urgent personal matter and he must name a replacement nominee. Everyone on his side of the house thinks he should nominate Alex, but Cody wants to keep her around because he respects her as a competitor. Jessica continues calling her Pao Pao, and she doesn’t like her.
Paul tells the houseguests that he is taking the Have Not challenge. He reads the card and it says that he must choose one of the two lock boxes. One will allow him to escape being a Have Not, and the other will double his stint as a Have Not. Paul selects the orange box and escapes being a Have Not.
The Den of Temptation is revealed to the houseguests. They must enter 1 at a time. Paul takes the Pendant of Protection and must curse one houseguest by random selection of a bottle of potions. Paul keeps the fact that he accepted the temptation to himself. Josh is all smiles, making the other houseguests speculate that he received the temptation. They are told that the next time they enter the den, they should all be worried. We then learn that the next temptation is the Ring of Replacement, and that voting opens after the show.
Cody asks Alex to come over to their side of the house, saying that he respects her game. She tells him that she is thinking of breaking up the showmances. He feels that he must put her on the block after that, but we already know from his previous DRs that he wants to backdoor Paul.
Cody names Alex as the replacement nominee for Megan.
