Julie announces that there will be a Battle Back Showdown next Friday. She also says that Christmas underwent successful surgery but hasn’t been medically cleared yet to return to the game. She will cast her vote remotely later in the show.
The fallout after the POV was explosive, yet again. Josh points at Cody and says, “Who wants meatballs for lunch? I bet you do, you fool.” He goes onto say, “There’s no way to hop off the block, little toad. You’re going to hop out the door on Thursday to Julie in a frog costume.” Cody calls him a victim and a man-child. Jessica says that Josh is a pawn on either side of the house. He tells her that she is going home next week. Josh says in DR explains that Cody has been using derogatory terms to describe him. He says “Meatball, you are going home this week.” Paul is seen telling Josh to chill. Cody and Jessica hop to the bathroom and Cody admits that Josh got in some pretty good digs. Yes, he did. Josh, I’m so effing proud of you for growing a pair, and saying what we all think of Cody, except we call him a douchebag and bigot for saying the word “tranny” repeatedly on the feeds, even after houseguests told him that was not a kosher term.
Cody says in DR that Paul is the only other Alpha in the house; he’s a competitor that needs to take him out. Paul comes in the bathroom, thanks Cody for not losing his cool, shakes his hand and says, “Respect.” This is in response to Cody saying “Respect” when Paul put up as the replacement nom, although I think this was simply in reaction to the POV meeting and not that he respects him as a person. Paul thinks he’s a major douchebag, too.
Christmas comes out of the DR and asks everyone to gather in the living room. She reads a card letting the houseguests know that she must have major surgery on her foot. She will have it on Wednesday and Big Brother will not alter any of the upcoming comps for her. She is given a choice to stay and recover in the BB house or leave the game. She chooses to stay as the “Queen of Perseverance.” Cody says in DR that he feels no sympathy for her. He gets up from the meeting and hops outside. Everyone is left shaking their heads, except for Jessica who is looking at Christmas with resting bitch face. Afterwards, Jessica says that she’s trying to mend fences with Christmas. So, for her apology, she tells Christmas that she’s made her life much harder and she thinks that she’s playing the ‘mean girl’ role. Bitch, please. To see a mean girl, Jessica needs to just look in the mirror, where she’ll also see that her hair is falling out from not taking proper care of her extensions. Jessica continually interrupts Christmas and the conversation ends with let’s just live in the same house. Christmas says in DR, “Maybe you shouldn’t call me a mean girl when you’re trying to apologize.” BAHAHAHA. Jessica is an idiot.
Dominique’s birthday cake is brought out and all the houseguests are celebrating as Jessica looks on. Such a sad little frog. She goes to the APSR and starts crying because she can’t have cake. Cody hugs her, but looks none-too-pleased to hear #VictimNoises. In DR, Jessica complains that every punishment has been put on her and she can’t eat cake. I’d say let her eat cake, but I don’t like her.
Cody realizes that his game is a lost cause, but he wants to save Jessica’s game before he leaves. Cody goes to Christmas and apologizes for being a jerk for the last few days. He says in DR that he is going to drop some names and some bombs on his way out. He tells Christmas that Mark and Dominique told him to put Christmas on the block. Christmas says she doesn’t necessarily believe him 100% but Mark has kept his distance from her and Dominique keeps her distance from everyone, so there are red flags with them both. Cody also told her Mark knew the plan to backdoor Paul. Next, Cody appears on Dominique’s show. Cody says he didn’t like Paul from day 1 because he’s loud and brash. Dominique then says there were “organically forming teams,” which raises the eyebrows of the team. Paul asks if the decisions he made were solely his own. Cody says there were always 1 or 2 people involved, which causes Mark to get riled up. He asks, “Which decision?” Cody won’t expand on his answer. Everyone agrees that Dominique’s line of questioning was bizarre and exposed their side of the house.
As Julie starts the eviction, she informs the houseguests that Christmas’s surgery was successful, but she wasn’t cleared to come back to the house yet, but will be voting remotely. Alex, Ramses and Cody give generic speeches. Cody only addresses Jessica, thanking her for standing by him. Alex receives no votes. Votes to evict Ramses: Jessica, Kevin and Christmas. Everyone else votes to evict Cody, and he’s evicted 7 to 3. Cody picks up Jessica, she wraps her legs around him and they kiss all the way to the door. He doesn’t say goodbye to anyone, but does ask Jessica to be his girlfriend on the way out the door.As Julie interviews him, she tells him about the Battle Back Showdown, and she says, “I see revenge in those eyes.” I see sociopath in those dead eyes.
The Space Cadets endurance HOH comp begins. It leans forward and back and sprays water and green slime on the houseguests.
Julie lets us know that for the first time ever, houseguests will be able to stop the Battle Back Showdown winner from re-entering the game. The final Den of Temptation Halting Hex voting continues until 7/19, which means we won’t see who wins it until sometime next week.
