Big Brother 16 House: New Rooms, Floorplan & More!

Now let me start right off by saying that what I’m going to talk about in this blog is just “a guess”.  But I think its a REALLY GOOD guess and am FLOORED nobody else is talking about this!  Plus, I have some reasoning to back up my theory.  Ok, are we good on the ground rules?  Now, in case you didn’t hear the news today (its posted below)…  CBS (via Julie Chen and this Vulture article) came out and announced that Big Brother shows and live feeds will be in HD this year!  But that’s not all… she also went on to say they are adding 11 new cameras!  She also goes on to explain how this has been in the works for three years cause its sooo complicated and bla bla bla!  But here is the thing… it’s not complicated and it doesn’t take three years to do, but what it does take is a lot of money.  And unfortunately BB14 was the lowest rated season for Big Brother in many years (12 was the worst, and 13 was no peach itself either).  So they weren’t going to spend the money to upgrade the cameras for BB15 (in my opinion… I’m guessing).  Then the BB15 shit show brought in massive ratings and well now they got oodles of cash (id guess).

But there was also one other MAJOR HURTLE in upgrading the cameras to HD, and its that the house would have to be demolished!  You see all of the wiring for the entire house would need to be redone as well, and (I guess) they wanted to wait until they had the budget to not only replace all the cameras but also give us a BRAND NEW HOUSE!  SIDE NOTE:  Wasn’t there an article from producers last year explaining this very subject (having to demo the house to rewire for new cams)?  If anybody has it, link to it in the comments below.  Now look, clearly I am speculation here and have now real proof of this.  But it seems odd to me that they need 11 NEW CAMERAS…  I mean the house is over covered by cams as is.  We already have 4-8 angles of EVERY ROOM!  So the only reason for new cameras would be (I guess) to install them in some new room or rooms!
