Our sassy diary room queen Mama Day was sent home week two and Audrey the psychopath is STILL in the house! Vanessa and Austin became the two new Heads of Household for the week. Who knows where their heads are at or whom they will nominate. Read on to find out more!
We begin right after the HOH competition. The houseguests are still trying to figure out how Gronk’s #BBtakeover party twist will affect the game. (BREAKING NEWS: it doesn’t. It’s stupid.) Audrey is concerned that she will be on Vanessa’s radar this week as they have had a falling out earlier on in the game. The whole house apparently wants her out, but Austin has other plans for his reign as HOH.
The BIG moment of the episode (which actually occurred BEFORE the live eviction last week) is that the secret is out about Liz. That’s right! People now know that Liz is playing with her twin sister, Julia. Vanessa and Julia Liz are in bed and Vanessa just point-blank asks Liz if she has a twin… and Liz says YES! Vanessa runs to Shelli and Clay with this information and they are willing to bring Liz and Julia in with them and protect them from getting evicted before the fifth eviction (when Julia gets to officially enter the house as her own player). I don’t understand why they would want an extra houseguest in a game where you fight to be the last person standing, but that’s just me. Vanessa breaks the news to Austin as well, who happens to sort of like Liz (just a wee bit).
Vanessa and Austin talk about their plans for the week. Vanessa says that she would like to get either James, Jeff or Jason out this week. She suggests putting up James right away since she cannot stand him at all. If he comes down with the veto, she wants Jeff to go up and out via the backdoor. She also suggests that she should be the one to remain the HOH for the week so that Austin can compete in next week’s competition. Yup. That means they are going to work together to throw the Battle of the Block so that Austin is dethroned. He is on board with this plan and plans to remain buddy-buddy with Jeff until it is time to knife him in the back.
“Who wants to see our HOH room?” Nobody! In fact, we’d rather hang ourselves! (I may have stolen that from my favorite BB blonde ever, Britney.) We get to see pictures of Vanessa’s girlfriend and their dogs. We also get to see childhood pictures of Austin and see his dad and brother. What’s weird is that he also got a Clay Aiken CD in his HOH basket. Clay Aiken. Yup. This is just beyond me. Austin is so weird and I can’t even begin to understand him and I just can’t even deal with it right now. Weirdness.
It’s time for another twin swap in the diary room. Julia fills Liz in on all that’s been going on. She tells them that Vanessa, Shelli, Clay and Austin know about them and are willing to work with them. She also tells Liz to lose a little weight (Thickums!) and that she needs to avoid Jeff, Jason and James who are trying to out the twins to the whole house. Liz re-enters the house and heads up to the HOH room where Vanessa and Austin are waiting for her. Liz is excited that she finally gets to breathe a little and not be so scared about her position in the house. The Sixth Sense alliance is formed between Liz, Julia, Vanessa, Austin, Shelli and Clay and they vow to keep the twins safe in order to bring them both into the game and get an extra number on their side. Personally, I’d love for them to protect Liz until Julia enters the game, and then either one of the twins wins HOH and gets one of the Sixth Sense fools out, and the other twin wins HOH the next week and gets someone else out from the alliance. That would serve the idiots right for bringing an extra person into the house and protecting them in a game where YOU WANT PEOPLE TO LEAVE!
Meanwhile, Johnny Mac notices that Julia has a fake tooth, while Liz does not and he needs to get a closer look to be sure. Detective Dentist is on the case! Jeff is privy to this info and tries to take it to Austin to try and save his own ass for the week. Austin plays dumb (very poorly, I might add) but he already knows the big secret and Jeff will not be able to use this to get the target on Liz instead of himself. Since Jeff keeps pressing the issue, he’s making himself a bigger target in Austin’s eyes since the Sixth Sense alliance needs to protect the twins at all costs.
Vanessa and Austin approach John and ask him to be a pawn, ONCE AGAIN, so that he can throw the Battle of the Block and Vanessa can remain HOH for the week. They promise him safety until final 10 and he agrees to do it. This seriously stresses me out every time Johnny agrees to go up as a pawn because he’s my absolute favorite person in the house and the thought of his being evicted just tears me up inside. But he knows what he’s doing, so I’ll just go with it.
It’s time for the third nomination ceremony! All goes according to the plan for the week. Austin is up first and he nominates Meg and Jason for eviction. He tells them that he wants them to do their very best in the competition (and he means it) since there is a bigger plan behind their nominations. Vanessa is next and she nominates James and John for eviction. Jason is PISSED that he is nominated against Princess Pawn Meg. On the other hand, John is just pissed that his picture didn’t show up first on the nomination screen. This dude is crazy but funny! You can’t help but love the guy. With this, the nomination ceremony is adjourned and the plan is in motion to have Austin dethroned and to get James or Jeff out of the house this week.
It’s time for the Battle of the Block competition. Everyone heads to the backyard where they find it has been transformed into a foam party. (one of the many parties during the Gronk takeover… sigh.) In “Gronk’s A-Maze-ing Foam Party,” the nominees have to take one item from the lost and found and return it through the maze and foam to the party-goer that is wearing the matching pattern. After they match the item to the party-goer, they must return them to the VIP area. The first nominated duo to get 10 matches and return them to the VIP area will win the competition! Hmmm… methinks this comp is perfect for girls and gay guys since it involves foam parties and matching fabrics. Johnny may not have to work so hard to throw this after all! In fact, James sucks pretty hard at this competition and struggles to match any of the people to the fabrics, while Jason and Meg haul ass and get all ten matches required. Meg and Jason win the Battle of the Block and are safe from eviction for the week. Austin is dethroned as HOH and Vanessa remains in power! It looks like the plan is going according to plan so far!
What did you think of this episode? Are you happy with who won the Battle of the Block? Are you tired of seeing Johnny Mac used as the pawn every week? Comment below or tweet me @vince1187 and let’s keep this convo going! 🙂
