Big Brother left us off in a cliff hanger last week. Everyone was playing the Before and After HOH Quiz. 
First out were Phil and Ramsey. Ramsey in his DR claiming he threw it because he is confident Third Wheel will go up but because of his blossoming alliance with Jared he doesn’t want to do it himself. We weren’t waiting for long though. Cassandra was out next. In one questions everyone but Maddy was eliminated in one foul swoop. That Jackpot noise was the downfall of everyone and Maddy is now the new HOH. Sitting in the studio watching this happen on Thursday I was so excited. Maddy is a wildcard who does what she wants. I love a HOH that isn’t a sheep. Maybe this time we can get a Third Wheel eviction that will stick!
I love when the hated person in the house gets HOH and you all of a sudden see the panic in the eyes and the fake hugs and game talks begin. Kelsey has pretty much assumed she’s up. Her only hope is that Maddy doesn’t think things through and nominates Cassandra. It’s going to be a fun 24 hours as they all at 
some point come talk to the HOH like you should do. Maddy is having none of it though. Cassandra awkwardly congratulates her. It’s only been a week since Maddy revealed her ass was grass. The brothers (especially Phil) want to quickly plant a seed in Maddy’s head and get out. Maddy tells her strategy to the bothers. Her plans to tell no one what her plan is. She wants them ALL to be scared. Cassandra wants Tim to start flirting with Maddy but he won’t cut Ramsey’s grass so to speak. He just tells her to lay low and keep quiet. Don’t try to get off the block before your even on it. Her, Joel and Tim have a little alliance called the Threeksome going on. Tim already has Maddy trusting him and listening to him so Cass just needs to shut up. Even in bed that night with Ramsey, as he’s trying to give her his “opinion” about who should be nominated she tells him she doesn’t want his input and to stop trying to push her. Maddy honey, Ramsey is your alliance, you can talk to him it’s OK. You can let him speak his mind.
We actually get a Have Not competition called Slop Vote. Everyone but Maddy has a slop container and EVERYONE gets a bucket of slop that they can distribute between the buckets. The three with the most slop in their containers at the end are the Have Nots. Production actually cleans everything up in between people so they have no idea who have been given any slop. Sneaky BBCAN real sneaky. First up is Ramsey and he has the MOST fun distributing his slop between Nikki (because 
she hasn’t been a have not yet), Cassandra (because he doesn’t like her) and Kelsey and Jared. He really loved the idea of Nikki and Cass being on slop! Maddy just pours it all into Kelsey’s. Tim and Cassandra both give each other a bucket of slop. Cassandra wants the bed to herself and Tim just doesn’t want to cook for her. Nikki gives hers all to Raul in revenge for evicting Mitch. In the end the 3 people who won’t take this well end up on slop. Nikki, Rail and Kelsey are the HaveNots. Rail is pissed and Tim has to work hard on stopping Nikki from self evicting. He needs her here as an ally. She rants and raves and her DR is epic. She gave Gary Glitter a run for his money. She promises not to suffer in silence. Lucky Us. It’s going to be a rough week in the BBCAN Grand.
Before nominations Jared gives it a last ditch effort to bridge a friendship between Kelsey and Maddy. Maddy makes its clear that nothing is going to make her trust Kelsey. She and Jared are fine but she can’t work with Kelsey. Cassandra, who’s been quiet, does a check in before nominations and Maddy just tells her to be worried, everyone needs to be worried. Kelsey makes her way into Maddy’s room, trying to open her eyes to other “duo” in the game. Maddy sees them, don’t you worry. Maddy gives her no reason to feel safe and I love it. People can criticize Maddy all you want but I love how she’s running her HOH (in theory anyways) She could have a little more, shall we say, tact. Like Christine said on our show a few weeks ago she is young and 
needs to learn how to be a bitch without people hating her. Her HOHitis is pretty high but I don’t even care. I love she’s not bending to anyone’s will but her own even though it’s frustrating poor Ramsey. Maddy’s short list is the brothers, Nikki (the ultimatepawn) Kelsey and Jared. In the end Kelsey and Jared are nominated for eviction. Kelsey because she has wasted her second chance in the game. The open mind she promised them shut when the doors shut behind her and she can’t trust her. Jared simply because he can beat her. Everyone calls Maddy catty, but the reasons she is giving behind her nominations are extremely logical and strategic. Quoting the great Godfrey Mangwiza she ends her nominations with “This ain’t no lovers paradise, it’s the Big Brother house” Let’s hope these nominations stick!
