After getting his heart broken by Andi, Chris Soules is returning in the hot seat as The Bachelor for season 19. The 33-year-old hopeless romantic is a successful farmer from Lamont, Iowa. He made it to the top 4 last season with Andi being sent home what looked like a successful hometown date. Chris who was engaged once loves football, camping and country music. I expect we’ll see a lot of “Surprise” concerts popping up this season. Although you may think Chris is just a simple farmer he graduated from university where he studied both agriculture and agronomy. He brought his knowledge back to the farm to expand it and help make it the multi million dollar enterprise it is now. Chris wants a large family and his ideal ladies with be smart, confident and motivate. Oh don’t forget she need to be willing to learn to drive a tractor! This year Chris will be living right beside the mansion so the ladies won’t have to trek so far when they have their emotional breakdowns.From what I have seen in pictures it looks like it will be an interesting premier. There is Yoga, coolers, and flowers. One girl even shows up in jeans. They have redecorated the mansion, and the meet and greet format has changed. He meets half, mingles with them and then meets the other half. He is also choosing from a record number 30 ladies this year, so lets not waste time and meet the lucky women!
Allissa is a 24-year-old Flight Attendant from Hamilton, NJ. She is a dog lover and becoming a certified yoga instructor is one of her greatest achievements. Allissa also loves to travel. Her most embarrassing moment is when she Facebook stalked a guy and instead of sending her finding to her friends, she accidentally sent them to him.
Amanda is a 24-year-old Ballet Teacher from Lake In The Hills, IL. She loves to shop, and read and hates to clean. Amanda’s wants to be married and open a ballet studio. The most romantic present she ever got was a beautiful letter where a guy expressed all his feelings to her. If she won the lottery she’s pay off her student loans, buy a house and save the rest.
Amber is a Bartender from Chicago and is 29 years old. She loves her family, friends and animal Her biggest fear is loving someone and them not feeling the same way towards her. Britt is a 27-year-old Waitress from Hollywood, CA. She can’t live without her bible, her journal, make or cell phone. She likes to read and sponsors children in need. If she ever won the lottery she would pay her college loans, help her parents, take a vacation then save half and donate the other half.
Brittany is a WWE Diva in Training from Orlando, FL. This 26-year-old loves family, laughter, the ocean and chocolate. Brittany’s most embarrassing moment was peeing while she was still mic’d and when her shorts fell off during her first wrestling match.

So there we go, Chris has a lot of girls to choose from and I don’t see any glaring crazy right out of the gate so the cocktail party will be interesting. At first glance, Jade, Jordan and Mackenzie strike me as early outs. Not because I think there are bad or crazy I just don’t think they’d be a good fit for Chris. Jade has a business in LA and I don’t see her uprooting that, Jordan just seems a little immature and superficial for Chris and Mackenzie as well is a little young, being 12 years Chris’s junior. I want to love love love my Canadian girl Kaitlyn and she seems to be OK on paper except that she wants to run a pirate island called Yarrland. That is the only crazy thing I saw in any of these bio’s besides the Reegan who sells dead people’s tissue for a living and Megan admitting to barfing in her purse! We will have to see if we can keep our Ashley’s straight and are Britt and Brittany and Nikki and Nicole. Hopefully Chris will make our lives easier and cut some of these double names early on, although it’s not as bad as Bachelor Canada who not only had 2 Amber’s they were both Amber B.
Who am I liking are Kara, Nicole, Tracey and Trina. I don’t know why but I see Chris with a teacher of some kind. I love that Nicole is successful in her own career with her own money, I do wonder if she’d uproot a successful real estate career in Arizona to move to Iowa though. Kara seems really down to earth and would compliment Chris well. With Tracey and Trina I think Chris would want the kind of woman who works with children and Tracey being a primary grade teacher and Trina who works with special needs kids would fit that bill.
