Lisa Rinna is going thru some true feelings this episode. We start off with her discussing with her daughters about visiting Medford, Oregon to see her ill parents.
The girls joke and tease their mother of her small town living. (Totally LA girls!) Lisa arrives with two of her daughters and while driving around they ask if everyone in town is “Chubs Chubs” since there is so many fast food places. We meet Lisa’s parents Frank and Lois. Franks 92 amazing painter and Lisa says “It’s hard to watch people get old”. Lois recently had a stroke which cause some memory loss. Her father’s decreasing health and her mother’s recent stroke has led them to have to sell their home. Frank expresses he isn’t happy and feels lost causing all the girls to tear up. Later that day Lisa meets with her sister Nancy and thanks her for all the help. She admits to Nancy; “It’s not much longer he is miserable”. The meal quickly turns into a family dinner with the kids joking that Lisa can’t cook and overall is a light conversation. The next day Lisa and her mother go to the house to say goodbye. “The hardest part of selling your home…your letting go of your memories.”
We finally get the names to Lisa V gay swans as she puts it. Hanky and Panky. Her and Ken discuss Kyle’s upcoming BBQ and Brandi’s house-warming party. Ken throws a little shade at Kyle about Lisa getting a Star in Palm Springs and Kyle having a place out there.
Before Lisa Rinna left for Oregon she got two of her girlfriends (Yolanda and Eileen) together for lunch. We come to find out that Gigi knows Eileen step son from school. Eileen points out that she has know Lisa since the 80’s. Nice to see how these ladies kind of connect. They discuss their kids sex lives. Eileen says she is that annoying mom giving condoms while Lisa says she isn’t sure when to start her girls on birth control! Yolanda and Eileen talk how they enjoy their downsized lives in Malibu expressing it’s easier.
Kyle is chatting with her Lady Sitter (WHATEVER that means lol) Justin. Go over her Beverly Hills BBQ and says “Does anyone in this group just want a hotdog”. Says she is inviting everyone and it is their choice to not come because of someone else. Justin teases Kyle saying “Do you people not do anything regular. Is everything so lux.”
Eileen and Vinny go to pick tomato’s from their garden. Talks of her lunch date with Yolanda and Lisa expressing how it was nice to have some girl time. Eileen goes into explaining how living in Malibu has caused them to become home bodies. The distance and fact that Vinny doesn’t like to go out is the biggest parts to it. Eileen gets a phone call from Yolanda inviting her to Kyle’s BBQ which she says yes.
The BBQ is starting and Kyle is getting everything ready and Brandi is the first to arrive looking gorgeous. Eileen and Vinny pick up Yolanda and they discuss how Vinny knew Kim and Kyle when they were all kids. Small Hollywood World. They arrive and Kyle recognizes Eileen from working with her on DOYL last year and Vinny from when they were kids! Yolanda introduces Kim to Vinny stating they worked together as kids which Kim smiles and hugs. Side interview Kim says she doesn’t remember working with him but knows him. Lisa arrives and Yolanda greets Lisa and immediately asks her why she wasn’t invited to her Star event. Lisa tip toes around it of course and says nobody came. Yolanda never gets an answer as Lisa gets up to get a drink. Yolanda says in side interview she “doesn’t feel like Lisa is moving on” Brandi admits she is attracted to a challenge and that is exactly what Lisa is giving her. Lisa is very cold toward her and still wont say if she is coming to the house-warming party. They sit down for dinner and Yolanda talks about her vacations are like jobs and its tiring. (i assume she means cause her mother otherwise pass me the vacations!) Brandi is totally a fangirl over Eileen and comes on very strong to her with her opinions of DOYL. Kim discusses how she lied for a roll and said she knew how to play Tennis. On set she confessed and end up getting lessons from Vinny’s brother! The girls laugh and say how that is how it goes sometimes. With Eileen stating how she lied about being able to ride a motorcycle and end up crashing. Had a random homeless person help her up and spit on a bandana to whip her face. The night is coming to an end and Lisa is preparing to leave. Brandi stops her and asks her again to come to her House warming. Then again awkwardly stops them going out the door to come to which Ken replies “We’ll try”.
