It looks like Real Housewives of Atlanta has had a last-minute cast change. Porsha Williams was blindsided by Bravo when they told her that this season she would be demoted to role of friend instead of being a principal character. Bravo was more than willing to keep Porsha on the show even after her violent outburst towards fellow cast mate Kenya Moore. During filming Porcha kept the show at arm’s length, refusing to give them details of her personal life. She was also supposed to talk to and patch things up with Kenya but that never happened and she even lashed out at new cast member Claudia Jordan. Her lack of story line coupled with production being fed up with her behavior are what led to her being shut out of a lead position. Demetria McKinney will also be joining the cast in the friend role. Rumor has it that Claudia was supposed to get the friend spot and Demetria was supposed to get her own peach but producers changed it up last-minute. Porsha has said that she is now going to concentrate on her career (She is currently part of the Ricky Smiley Show on Dish Nation) and her love life and her recurring role on the show will be focused on that, or what she allows the show to know about anyways!
