This week we pick up where we left off with Stassi telling Katie she needs to stand up for herself in her relationship with Schwartz. It’s not cool that he cheated on her. When Tom shows up he blows up at Stassi (after a little provocation) and she ends up throwing him out of her apartment. Now Katie is upset that Schwartz just let her throw him out and didn’t even fight for her. Stassi just wants Tom to cut Jax out of his life so he can be the guy he once was.
There is a new girl in SUR. Danielle gets her friend Vail a job at as a hostess at SUR. Jax now has fresh meat to hit on and doesn’t waste anytime. Before her interview is even begun he proclaims that he’ll sleep with her. Lisa hires her despite wondering why having a Princeton education she wants to be a server and warns her not to co-mingle with the staff. Vail has a trial period during Gay Pride.
Tom has taken Katie to a fancy dinner to get himself out of the dog house. Katie tells him she can move past all the cheating garbage but she really wants him to cut the cord with Jax. Tom doesn’t think that is something that is going to happen
Gay pride is coming and instead of doing a float this year she is just going hire go go dancers and have parties at both SUR and PUMP. As per custom the SUR staff get all spray painted and the girls wear ridiculous eye lashes that make them look like they have butterflies coming out of their eyes. Dani is keeping her eye on Vail making sure she doesn’t get put under the Jax spell, and he’s trying hard! Schwartz is helping out at PUMP, Stassi shows up and Tom apologizes to her. Stassi tries to explain that Jax is conspiring against them but he’s too blind and dumb to realize it. Kristin is reminiscing about how this time last year the whole was when the whole Tom/Ariana thing came out and confronts Ariana at the bar. She wants them to admit that they were sleeping together behind her back James is kind of over the whole Tom/Kristin drama. SUR is a dead zone while PUMP is pumping (pardon the pun). Stassi then goes over to SUR to spread her sunshine. Jax runs to PUMP to check on Tom and he tells him how much damage he caused between him and Katie.
The next day Kristin is prepping herself to go to Sandoval’s apartment. James wants to know how many more times she has to go over there to get her mail. Sandoval has back up in Tom Schwartz when Kristin arrives, and she is done up to the nines in a low-cut dress. Tom doesn’t think after 6 months she shouldn’t be getting mail anymore. Tom told her to stop talking shit to Ariana. He doesn’t talk to her or James she should just do the same. She badgers him about sleeping with Ariana while they were together. He finally snaps and tells her the only reason he stayed with her so long was because he felt trapped. That must have hit a nerve, because Kristin packs up and and leaves in tears. Ariana shows up and Tom x2 fills him in on what happened. Schwartz told Ariana and Tom about the apartment debacle and Ariana points out smartly that both Stassi and Jax are doing the exact same thing.
Vail was late for a shift at SUR and in her talk with Lisa she reveals that she tries not to party to hard because she has a tendency to abuse substances. Not alcohol so much but drugs. She was also on Young and the Restless! Lisa warns her specifically to stay away from Jax. Katie, Kristina and Stassi get together to decorate a cake for Peter’s birthday. Everything comes back to Stassi’s contempt for Sheana, Jax and Kristin. Katie starts talking about her date night with Tom. Stassi is pissed that Katie allowing Tom to still be friends with Jax. She thinks Tom should want to not be around someone who has been so vile to his girlfriend. Katie just needs to let it go. Stassi and Katie go back to Katie’s apartment and Stassi again lays in to him. On one hand I get that she is pissed that Tom isn’t defending Katie more but on the other I think that she needs to let it go. If Katie and Tom are both on the same wave length then let them work it out. It’s Katie’s decision to tolerate Tom being a pussy or not.
